When will i be able to tell whos she is??? (serious answers only)?

  • i am 37.3 weeks pregnant and is having a girl...my due date is either nov.15 or nov.13.......so the day the baby was conceived could be any where from Feb.18-25 i think.......but i don't know when my period was so i don't no what the doctors are going by......and i had sex with one guy on the 18th or 19th but he didn't finish......and the other one i had sex with lots of time that week un protected were he did finish so i am depending on either a dna test or who the baby looks like to tell me........who's it can be......all of his family except parents and him have colored eyes like blue green and hazel and most of his family is white but his parents are dark........but his bros and sisters and all white and have light hair he don't have colored eyes and me i have hazel eyes the majority of my family has small noses and ears and colored eyes and are light with different colors of Hair........but the Other possible father father is kinda dark regular brown eyes (his whole family is dark with brown eyes) and hes not black but just mexican......and all his immediate family stay skinny for ever and never get fat.......for real they are all sticks i feel fat around them..........in the 4-d sono the baby has my small nose but i cant really make anything else out.......so can i tell right away will the skin color matter??? what about the eyes and hair???

  • You just need to tell them both the truth. You cannot rely on eye and skin color...I'm white and my baby's father is black...my children are mixed..my son was born almost white with blue eyes..he still has blue eyes and no hair. The little bit of hair that did come in was blonde. He is still very fair skinned with just a touch of bronze and his eyes are still blue and his hair is still light...like a sandy blonde. The texture of it is like black people though...and my daughter was born really dark...she looks almost full black. You just can't go off of how other family members look...you must be honest so you will save yourself some heartache...get a DNA test done so you know you having the right man raise your child. Good luck!!!

  • I've seen lots of babies in my lifetime who were just born, and all the mixed and colored ones always looked like white babies at first. Sometimes it takes a few days for them to get their color.
My eyes were blue when I was born and are brown now. My son's were grey and are green now, my daughter's were dark brown and are the lightest blue I ever saw now. They all changed around 6-8 months to the color they kept.
In short, unless you want to lead them on, get the dna test. There's no shame in it.

  • Skin color and eye color can help you tell. Brown is a dominant gene. But a lot of babies have blue eyes when born that turn brown later.

Good luck, but a DNA test is the best choice... but then you will have to admit to each of the about the other. I don't know how that will affect things.

  • relying on looks is a poor way to judge who's baby it is. While someone may display dominant traits, such as dark hair, eyes, etc.. they could also carry recessive genes for light colors.

Me and my BF are having fun guessing what hair and eye colors our baby will have.. I have dark brown hair and eyes.. my dad has blue eyes.. there are cousins on my side with blonde hair... he has red hair and green eyes.. some siblings have dark hair, some have blonde, and some have red (he has a large family).. we've come to the conclusion that any eye or hair color is possible.. depending on what recessive genes I carry and if the red hair or green eyes happen to be a more dominant or recessive gene. Also I read that color isnt always as simple as dominant vs recessive.. sometimes they layer each other to produce variations of colors.

Your only way to know for sure is a DNA test. This "can" be done during an amnio... but since amnio tests include risks, its not reccommended to do this test unless there's a serious concern with the baby's health.. otherwise the DNA test can be done as soon as the baby is born.

  • You're gonna have to do the test because some features can come and go in the first month and I'm guessing you need to know before then. My daughter was born with freckles on her arms and back and now they're not visible. So unless you wanna wait for defining features halfway into the year go ahead and look online for a home swab kit or something.

  • No you cannot tell by that ultrasound, or the way your baby looks when he comes out. First off all babies are born with blue slate colored eyes so mark that off. Second, babies can look completely different when they are born then how they are going to look later on. And 3rd, i have seen black babies come out with almost white skin... soooooo You definitely cannot be sure about that. However... if you wanted to find out before the baby is born, you can have a DNA test while you are pregnant now. Maybe that would be something you are interested in. Either way, there is no way to be sure without the test.

  • do a dna test dear it's the best choice and God bless you

  • Paternity test. That's all you can do.
