Can anyone who reads chinese translate these tattoos?

  • In the photo there are two tattoos that are placed upon someones wrist placed in a verticle position. THE TATTOOS ARE NOT ONE WORD OR PHRASE THEY ARE TWO SEPERATE TATTOOS. Best anser goes to the member who can translate these tattoos. Here is the link to the photo:

  • 殉(xun4)
    means to sarcrifice one's life for sth, such as 殉情(xun4 qing2),meaning to commit suicide for frusted love;
    also means to be buried alive with the dead, such as殉葬(xun4 zang4)

    堪(kan)
    means to endure,sch as難堪(nan2 kan),meaning embaarrassed(hard to endure);
    also means be able to, sush as堪當重任(kan dang zhong4 ren4), meaning can shoulder an important task
